1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using O××OO× ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

• You must be 18 years or older to use O××OO×
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You cannot use the Platform if previously banned
• These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement

2. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Creation

• One account per person
• Must provide valid email address
• Choose unique username and pattern
• Invite-only registration during beta

Account Security

• Keep your password secure and confidential
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Do not share, sell, or transfer your account

Account Information

• Provide accurate and current information
• Update profile details as needed
• Do not impersonate others
• Do not use misleading patterns or usernames

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

You May

• Create a profile to showcase your links and content
• Use modules to organize your digital presence
• Connect with others via Pattern Chain
• Purchase subscriptions and effects
• Share your profile publicly

You May Not

• Post illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Share hate speech, violence, or discriminatory content
• Post spam, malware, or phishing links
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property
• Impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools (except official API)
• Circumvent platform limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer or exploit the Platform
• Interfere with Platform functionality or other users

Adult Content

O××OO× is not designed for adult/NSFW content. Such content may be removed without notice.

4. USER CONTENT

Your Rights

• You retain ownership of content you create
• You control your profile, modules, and Pulses
• You can delete your content anytime

License to O××OO×

By posting content, you grant O××OO× a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display your content on the Platform
• Distribute via profiles, discovery, and Pattern Chains
• Make backups and technical reproductions
• Show your content in promotional materials (with permission)

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure you have rights to content you post
• Do not post copyrighted material without permission
• You are liable for content that violates laws or rights
• We may remove content that violates these Terms

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

Membership Tiers

• Ghost (Free): 3×3 grid, basic features
• Verified ($8/month): 3×6 grid, all modules, custom domain
• Elite ($20/month): 3×9 grid, All Verified features + marketplace, advanced effects
• Founder (Lifetime): First 100 users, permanent Elite status

Billing

• Processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly
• Charged on signup date each month
• Prices in USD unless otherwise stated

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime in account settings
• Access continues until end of billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time
• Downgrades take effect at period end

Refunds

• Generally no refunds for subscriptions
• Refunds considered for technical issues preventing use
• Contact support within 7 days of charge
• Refunds at our sole discretion

Price Changes

• We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice
• New prices apply at next renewal
• Cancel before renewal to avoid new price

Marketplace Purchases

• One-time purchases for effects, themes, modules
• Immediate access after purchase
• No refunds for digital goods
• 15% platform fee on creator sales

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

O××OO× Ownership

We own all rights to:

• The O××OO× platform, code, and infrastructure
• O××OO× name, logo, and branding
• Design system, UI patterns, and visual identity
• Fire system, Pattern Chain, and core features

Your Content

• You retain all rights to content you create
• Modules, Pulses, profile text remain yours
• Images you upload remain your property

Creator Marketplace

• Creators retain rights to themes/effects they create
• Creators grant buyers non-exclusive license to use
• Buyers cannot resell or redistribute purchased items
• O××OO× has right to distribute purchased items to buyers

Prohibited Use

• Do not copy, modify, or redistribute our code
• Do not use our name or branding without permission
• Do not create competing services using our IP

7. PLATFORM FEATURES

Pattern System

• Patterns are unique identifiers (first-come, first-served)
• Reserved pattern (O××OO×) cannot be registered
• We may reclaim inactive patterns after 1 year

Pattern Chain (The Six)

• You control who appears in your Pattern Chain
• Being added to others' chains is public information
• You can block users from adding you
• Mutual connections are indicated with ∞ symbol

Fire System

• Fire status calculated algorithmically based on traffic
• Not a guarantee of continued visibility
• You can suppress fire visibility in settings
• Torches boost others' fire status (limited per day)

Discovery

• Public profiles may appear in discovery features
• Set profile to Members Only or Ghost Mode to limit visibility
• Being featured does not guarantee traffic

8. TERMINATION

By You

• Delete your account anytime in settings
• 30-day grace period for account recovery
• Active subscriptions canceled automatically
• No refunds upon voluntary deletion

By O××OO×

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in illegal activity
• Abuse or harass other users
• Post prohibited content repeatedly
• Attempt to harm the Platform
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Effect of Termination

• Profile and content removed from public view
• Access to Platform immediately revoked
• Subscriptions canceled, no refunds
• Some data retained for legal/security purposes
• You may not create new accounts if banned

9. DISCLAIMERS

Platform "As Is"

O××OO× is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including:

• No guarantee of uninterrupted service
• No guarantee of error-free operation
• No warranty of fitness for particular purpose
• No guarantee of security or data protection

User Content

• We do not endorse user-generated content
• Not responsible for accuracy of user profiles
• Links lead to third-party sites at your own risk
• We do not verify legitimacy of external links

Third-Party Services

• Payment processing by Stripe (separate terms apply)
• Email delivery by AWS SES
• We are not responsible for third-party service failures

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Our liability is limited to amounts you paid in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Not liable for lost profits, data, or business opportunities
• Not liable for user content or third-party actions
• Not liable for service interruptions or data loss

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, infrastructure failures, etc.).

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless O××OO×, its founders, employees, and partners from claims arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Content you post
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of laws or third-party rights

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, except:

• Small claims court (under $10,000)
• Intellectual property disputes
• Injunctive relief for Terms violations

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

Exceptions

Users in jurisdictions where arbitration/class action waivers are unenforceable retain their legal rights.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

• We may update these Terms at any time
• Material changes: 30 days email notice
• Minor changes: updated on this page with new date
• Continued use after changes = acceptance
• If you disagree, stop using Platform and delete account

14. MISCELLANEOUS

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and O××OO×.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

Assignment

You cannot transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights to successors or affiliates.
